Let me preface my post with this...I'll be the first to admit I'm a high maintenance,sometimes high strung, loose cannon. (But you knew that, huh?) I just want to say some things about the blog "Fat Jerry." I realize it is a temporary place to hang between "Catch.com" and "The new place." The first problem I had was, at Fat Jerry, it was like The Monkey Lounge. A holding pen between real web sites. There are two women (I love very much) running most of the show. I realize they are giving much of their time trying to keep this small community together. My second problem is..."Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."-Lord Acton. I think these ladies take this blog too seriously. One calls herself a "Capo."(The head of a branch of an organized crime syndicate.) The other calls herself "Your future overlord."(One in a position of supremacy or domination over others.) subconscious perceptions? You decide. The site is a good place. (if you have cats and like to put the poor devils in funny hats or costumes.) What I mean by that is...If the thread is about a man eating a baby, by the 5th or 6th post it becomes, "Do you know what my cat did today?" In summation. I love all the members a lot. I probably won't be invited to the new place. I hope they understand that outside of the blog I'm still their friend. They have known me for years yet, I'm still a conundrum. My expectations are a level playing field...nothing more! *hugs*

	observer July 20, 2006 09:35 AM PDT So is it that they take the cite to seriously or not seriously enough (talking about cats when pressing matters of baby eating are at hand)? You contradict yourself.


	touchstone June 11, 2006 12:30 PM PDT You know, I feel your pain. I miss Catch. Fat Jerry isn't Catch. Fat Jerry is Fat Jerry. I don't visit often anymore because my own blog has overwhelmed me --and I'm obsessed by local politics now, no time for FJ's irreverent puckishness. I also agree that technically it's a hard site to get around. But it's still a nice community, different than most places you find on the 'Net. That said...I have no idea of what's been going on... Keep your pecker up, Bill!


	CaliforniaPerv May 20, 2006 03:45 PM PDT Thanx for your words, MJ. Sometimes we lose site of the forrest. I feel I was a bit rash and hasty in my comments about the admins. Giving my opion of the "lesser quality" of the site provider was my impatience with the low tech blog. I am not worthy of your wisdom, MJ.


	Mahh_Jongg May 19, 2006 03:37 PM PDT Bill, I wanted to let you know that I appreciate your honesty despite others opinions and that was the original basis for Catch: to express our opinions without fear of retribution or derogatory comments. I think that along the way we forgot about the most important reason for coming to these websites and keeping in touch and that is friendship. Being disrespectful now is not only hurtful, but disrespectful to one another. Why would someone try to intentionally hurt someone that they once considered a friend? I hope that you ALL think about that the next time you post no matter what website it may be.

Don’t you have a mental health rider on your health insurance, if not you could set up a pay pal account and we all could donate for your care. You could just walk-in to a hospital and state that you’re in need of help as you feel you’re about to do something rash, they’d have to take you. But for god sake get help! A friend.
