Another one bites the dust
I found out today that another friend died this week. It's not like I'm just getting old. I'm only in my 50's.(the new 40's) This is another life friend, Dennis O'Neill. Another that died too young...Too early. The O'Neill family is like my second family. I hope they think the same of me. I hung out with them since cool was hip! They are cool! I feel the pain as if he were my brother. My heart goes out to all the O'Niell family. Peace!

Dear Mr. President, I want you to stop...
Killing our children! Stop the war now!!! I mean it, I'm pissed off!(ask my friends, I can be a real prick) I read the newspaper every day. Thousands of our soldiers dead. Car bomber, suicide bomber, blah, blah, blah! Every fucking day! "Homicide bomber!"( Get it right, media.) Anyone out there that has ever lost a son or daughter, under any circumstance. understands how you loose a part of your heart. I want to cry every day. I don't understand why we don't rise up and take control of this situation. No WMDs. With all our technology, we can't find that one dick (Bin Laden) that would make it all seem worthwhile. In the meantime, children die. Maybe we can ask another country for help. Mexico seems to want to be involved here.

Let me preface my post with this...I'll be the first to admit I'm a high maintenance,sometimes high strung, loose cannon. (But you knew that, huh?) I just want to say some things about the blog "Fat Jerry." I realize it is a temporary place to hang between "Catch.com" and "The new place." The first problem I had was, at Fat Jerry, it was like The Monkey Lounge. A holding pen between real web sites. There are two women (I love very much) running most of the show. I realize they are giving much of their time trying to keep this small community together. My second problem is..."Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."-Lord Acton. I think these ladies take this blog too seriously. One calls herself a "Capo."(The head of a branch of an organized crime syndicate.) The other calls herself "Your future overlord."(One in a position of supremacy or domination over others.) subconscious perceptions? You decide. The site is a good place. (if you have cats and like to put the poor devils in funny hats or costumes.) What I mean by that is...If the thread is about a man eating a baby, by the 5th or 6th post it becomes, "Do you know what my cat did today?" In summation. I love all the members a lot. I probably won't be invited to the new place. I hope they understand that outside of the blog I'm still their friend. They have known me for years yet, I'm still a conundrum. My expectations are a level playing field...nothing more! *hugs*

Why are we putting up with this?
I now put forward May 5th, 2006 ("Cinco De Mayo") as, don't buy Mexican anything day! No burritos! No tacos! No nothing Mexican. And, fire all Mexicans that don't show up for work on May 1st.(my boss has already made the signs..."I got fired today!") I am all for freedom. But...don't try to take over my life. I'm not responsible for yours.
Anyone want to start a pissing contest, feel free!

Let me preface this by saying that I've totally enjoyed my membership at Catch.com. I've made some friends and some...not so friends. Tonight I had someone there submit a post with my name on it. They commented using my name.(I find this unacceptable and bullshit) This should not be allowed to happen on any site where you have a password to protect your privacy. Nobody should be able to post a comment in your name! I feel betrayed by the person that did this and the site for not jumping in and protecting my concerns. I was informed by email that I was making too much of this and the perp would be talked to. Now, trust is something I take very seriously. Being blown off by the powers to be is just a little less than trusting. Thanx for listening.
